Dr. Rebecca Rores

Born and raised in Reno/Sparks, Rebecca Rores, DMD is the founder of Rores Family Dentistry. She values building a personal connection with each of her patients. This is one of the reasons she selected South Reno to open her private practice.

At Rores Family Dentistry, their philosophy is brilliant, yet simple:

“We put patients first and aim to make them as comfortable as possible the minute they walk in the dental office. While we utilize a gentle approach to dentistry, we want patients to know that we are competent and confident in what we are doing and give the best treatment possible. We treat our patients like they are family.”

Dr. Rores has been in the field of dentistry since 2001. Growing up, her dentist was a family friend. Once she made the decision to become a dentist after completing her undergraduate degree, he became her mentor. Dentistry is a natural fit for Dr. Rores as she is passionate about both the science and artistry involved in dentistry. She has a B.S. degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington. She graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine in 2007. Following graduation, she completed a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Dallas, TX in 2008.

Dr. Rores genuinely cares about her patients and strives to offer what is right and best for them. She realizes that going to the dentist is not something most people enjoy or look forward to. Her knack for putting her patients at ease shows. She takes that extra time to get to know her patients. By having her own practice, she has the luxury of not rushing from patient to patient. She strives to establish long-term relationships with her patients and provide them with the highest level of service in a boutique-style practice. The Rores Family Dentistry motto is simple — gentle, caring, and friendly.

Dr. Rores is married to her husband, Jason, and they are proud parents to four children — three rambunctious sons and their sweet and funny daughter. The family enjoys golf hiking, snow skiing, and water skiing. As a family, they plan to create many adventures together.

Dr. Katie Flynn

When you hear someone say, “A smile can change a life,” nobody believes that more than Dr. Katie Flynn. As a kid, she didn’t smile much because of how her teeth looked. Then, she got braces. It was a game-changer. When she had her braces off, friends even commented that her personality changed in a positive way. She appeared more confident and outgoing. When she flashed that award-winning smile, it significantly changed her overall outlook on life. She wants her patients to have that same confidence when they smile. And that’s precisely why she was attracted to the field of dentistry.

Dr. Flynn has been in dentistry since 2013 and is a natural fit for Rores Family Dentistry as she believes in putting patients first and practicing gentle and caring dentistry. Not only does she want patients to be comfortable sitting in the dental chair, but she also wants them to be comfortable with their smiles.

She was born and raised in Las Vegas and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Her minor was in Analytical Chemistry. She fell in love with Reno as she loved the four seasons, the hometown look and feel, and the friendly vibe. To earn her dental degree, she returned to Las Vegas to attend the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.

After graduating, she knew she was destined to return to the Biggest Little City. And that’s exactly what she did. Her boyfriend and his daughter followed. As a family, they do all the fun things that Reno has to offer including hikes, winter sports, and enjoying Lake Tahoe. Their dog, Izzy, often accompanies them on adventures. They are adopting a Golden Retriever puppy. Dr. Flynn is legitimately concerned that Izzy might be upset because she will no longer be “the only child” of the family when it comes to the four-legged kind.
